It's Easy

Doug & I made our first daring attempt at making a visit together WITH both kids. (gasp) As I was doing my usual touch-up on my facial paint job, Kent ran into the bathroom with his kick ball, sat it down on the floor, and kicked it into the bathroom vanity and said, "Mommy, that's easy." I have no idea where he got the easy thing, but I chuckled, and he ran out of the room. Rella was hot on his heels with her little half flat ball, placed her ball on the floor, and proceeded to kick her ball into the vanity. "Easy" she said, and ran out the door with her ball. Easy??

Other than the dog snapping at Arielle's face, our visit came off without a hitch - even with our kids in toe.

I'm in the process of preparing for a garage sale. My little circle money stickers are lying all over the floor, and naturally Kent and Rella are sticker fans. I walked into the living room to find both of them wallpapered in little neon colored stickers on their legs and face. You'll see a picture in the slide show to prove it.

After we cleaned up the stickers, we had a handful of Teddy Grahams, and I placed the box on the counter. Arielle apparently didn't get enough snack, so she retreived the box and headed for the living room. Why is it they always choose to take their illegal snacks to the living room? She must not have had ample view of her bear options, so she dumped the 3/4 full box of teddy bears on the floor. Kent immediately joined in on the fun, and they had a bear fest right there in the middle of the floor. Mmmmmm.... See picture above for proof.

At bedtime tonight after Kent and I prayed and said verses, he said, "Mommy, I want to listen to Patch the Pirate. The power is out, though." We had discussed the power outage a few weeks ago when the wind knocked out a transformer, so no doubt he remembered why we couldnt' listen to PTP, but we're still talking about the power outage.

A note on the ministry...Please keep Samantha Mitchel and her mother, Pat, in prayer. God is working in her life, and we are praying fervently for the Lord to make a difference in their lives. Sam accepted Christ as her Savior about 4 weeks ago. Pat has many health issues and was having chest pains today.

Also please pray for Dan and Dawn. They are trying to make changes in their lives, but the devil is working over time in an attempt to keep them from living for the Lord as they desire.
